I'm reading nothing but bad things about such seemingly valuable .asia domains .... does anyone have anything good to say about DOT ASIA?

Even with 70 countries and well over half the world's population (think India and China) in Asia? Seems to me that dot asia is destined for more?

We heard about them on the day of the land rush and never since are they spoken about.

The auctions for the domain names that have been applied for during the landrush are still going on and it seems they will be going for quite some time.
The positive thing that could be said (without meaning much) is that .asia names get good prices at those auctions.

Nope, I have absolutely nothing good to say. The only thing I wish was that I was the registry so I could get all that money that suckers are throwing into that useless extention!

Im outside Asia and was quite interested in .asia, thought i could somehow purchase them regardless, quickly lost interest, not because of anything negative but because i dont want to take risks regarding ownership.

But positively, id buy if i could.
