I found this directory submitted on my Page Rank Directory - without paying.

When I check the site -found that - he/she is using Coolweb's Template which was realeased few weeks back. As far as I reckon - it is sponsored by Bigweblinks and Arise Directory

I saw no links of them

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I am also hoping for that. It was submitted on 31st --and I gave 3 days time ( I hope its OK) to make payments. Now that I have concluded -he won't pay - I am looking for the owner --so that he/she at least restored the SPONSORED links.

 

It is my understanding that if you pay you can remove the footer links.

So, maybe this person paid to remove it.

 

Yes you are right. That is why I mentioned to correct me if I am wrong. Either Coolweb or the owner can confirm it.

 

1)Why don't you do a search first?
2)Why don't you contact Asim(coolweb) directly?

 

3) why did you report the missing links after waiting 3 days for his payment.

 

Thanks Richi- just forgot it. But I thought - the owner might have forgot to add the links. And Asim has not been online for long today-so that I can tell discuss about it either on MSM or YM. I am waiting for him to come online.

that is really bad practice using one of our free phpld templates and no footer back links to the sponsors

No way, we are not allowing removal of footer links at any cost (except our 1st free template, that was released in the last year)

Seems Jeff need to make another thread catching such directory owners violating the terms

Oops.........Looks like someone removed my links too,along with the phpld one.

 

Man this getting ridicules now....

isn't their a way to make it so that the link are NOT removable?
Somehow imbeded into the template with a code needed to get in or something?

I was thinking about that too.
Just like what the developer did in the site-sift script,the link to their site cannot be removed.
