So let me start off by asking . . . what are doorway pages ?

I have alot of websites and since I cant build something on all of them at one time I usually but up a one page website and talk about the niche so that it gathers time as a website and also i can judge how easy it is going to be to rank for a certain website.

So are those little one page websites DoorWay Pages ?

Now I was going through these scripts that I have been storing as I surf the internet over the last 3-4 years and I came across a doorway page builder basically I think I enter keywords that I wanna be found for and this thing generates doorway pages .. . but i dont know what those are . . . thanks for your help

spam pages generated by simple algorithms to target specific keyphrases.

They stopped being useful in about 1999.

Unless you want to be quickly banned, of course, in which case they are a great toy.

you should only register a .info for such door way pages and then direct those traffic to your main website. This is due to the fact that google quickly bans doorway websites after few months or sometimes even less.

But you can make a living building many such .info doorway pages and this strategy is not as outdated as some people think.

Search engines like content, and content is measured to a large degree in pages. All else being equal, a site with more pages will rank better than a site with less.

Remember, every page on your website is a potential doorway to the rest of the site. A business with many doorways on several streets is more likely to get customers than one that is hidden in an alley with only a single entry.

When trying to gain rankings for the sometimes obscure phrases that humans use to search with, more pages of simply make it more likely that your content will match that person’s query.

When reading the above, keep in mind that content means quality, original content. There are no shortcuts to sustainable top rankings.
