Doordarshan Commentary

    Whenever there is a cricket match, Doordharshan blocks the original commentary and telecasts the naration from their studios. Do you enjoy it? Or, do you prefer to hear the original commentary?

    Doordarshan commentary sucks, to say the least. Their Hindi commentary is at least tolerable, but boy; their English commentary team can simply go $%&^ themselves.

    I too have felt that they are doing an ordninary job. They have no control over the scenes as they are in the studio. They only narrate what they see on TV. Sometimes, the original purpose of a scene being shown and the way these people interpret it seems unintelligible.

    honestly, the commentary is damn funny. Sometime they take talk such bullshit, that we can't stop laughing.... My friends and I die laughing seriously...its fun

    I am a bangladeshi,so i mostly see the matches in India through doordarshan in recent days.I like the commentary and I enjoy it.It is really funny.I like hindi translation of bat and ball-'balla' aur 'gend'.Its really good that u have your owns words for cricket.
