Don't you think new rules are like a new principal in a school.

It seems that there is a new principal in the school. The new DP rules have become too strict. I am totally unknown about the meaning of 'inappropriate post', 'running up post count'

A person wants to buy signature link and have started a thread and is asking for the offers. I placed an offer and get infraction? 'Post has no value'

It is good! I think that the best thing is that, post and the thread which are inappropriate are deleted and by this way the size of the database on server can be made smaller.
But still there are many:
- Pm sent.
- Just sent you Pm
- Please reply
- Review Copies ?
like posts are there.

What I usually see that a lot of DP members who are having good rep are posting the words like 'Ok' , 'Sure! ' etc. etc. and they are not being banned.
What do you think about it!

 

If you see posts that break forum rules just click the '' Button and bring them to a mods attention. Also you should not have posted your offer Pm's are there for a reason.

 

1. Posting offers in the thread counts as posting to say you're interested. It belongs in a PM, as that offer is between you and the OP. If you want others to see the offer, you can start your own thread about it.

2. If you see others breaking the rules, use the report post button and we'll deal with it. If there's a lot of bumping in a thread, you only have to report one of them -- just mention in the report that there are others in the thread and we'll take a look when we see the report.

3. In the future, please don't start threads about your infractions (what this amounts to). The offers issue is not a new one (been around for well over a year). Please PM moderators if you have questions about your infractions moving forward.
