When you sell a site and the buyer forgets to change your Adsense code?
And then advertises it heaps so it boosts the impressions from around 400 a day to 19,241 over a week?
Hahah!
And I've earned around $4 Adsense since I sold it, lets hope he doesn't realize for a few more weeks.

 

I had that happened once. But I emailed the guy when the url was showing up in my reports.

 

I remove the AdSense code myself before I sell a site. There are too many risks involved. The new owner could do something that could cause your account to be be banned

I agree. It is way to risky.
I see people selling templates with their Adsense code intact in the hopes that the installer of the template will forget about the pub-ID.

That's insane, because you never know if the person using the template will use it for porn, gambling, or warez.
