Hey Yesterday i needed to call Tech Support now i work in IT and i hate having to wait 30 minutes to speak with someone that is going to ask me questions like: Is your computers power light on? Is your computer plugged into the wall? Is your modem light on? Etc.. Yes i understand that these questions apply to some people, but shouldn't there be a way to speak with someone that can solve the issue. Instead of being transfered to level 2 support and to figure out that you need a part replaced.
Yeah but they are just doing their job trying to find out as much info as possible for the problem. Even the slightest and easiest things could be overlooked initially when trying to solve a deeper issue.
Yes, I hate when they ask me that and then tell me the problem is on my end and I need to restart my modem or computer, After I tell them I did that, they look around on their end and find out that it's a mistake on them.
