Dont withdraw in a hurry ! I got reply from PayPal.

    After sending few messages to PayPal about the problem regarding Withdrawal update issue in India, i got the following reply. Which was not an automated message nor a copy paste mail.

    Dear XYZ,

    Thank you for contacting PayPal.

    First of all, I would like to apologize for the inconvenience you have
    in withdrawing your funds. To avoid hassle in your part, I suggest you
    withdraw your funds on the first or second week of August. We are now on
    the process of updating this feature and possible there will be a slight
    issue you may encounter. Please accept my apologies for any
    inconvenience this may have caused you.

    We hope you understand the situation and thank you for your patience.
    We're available to answer any questions you might have. Just give us a
    call at 1-402-935-2080 and we will try our best to give you immediate
    answers. We appreciate your business.

    I like the line he says " We are now on the process of updating this feature and possible there will be a slight issue you may encounter"

    So i assume, this issue will be temporary and will be solved soon.

    He said not to withdraw for now. So there should be some concern and could be a problem if we withdraw money in the time period of update.

    Are they in the process of updating/bettering check withdrawal system or electronic fund transfer? The mail is not clear about which withdrawal system they are referring to. :(

    Yeap. Maybe they are working on something like introducing standard check or Speed post check option for check withdrawal option. :)

    Or... probably addressing the problem faced due to 'maximum withdrawal limit' of $ 2500... by removing it altogether!

    They might resolve the problem within August 1st or 2 nd week . In Feb , they did the same .

    I think they are working on withdrawal system itself! May be we would see EFT with new way may be need to submit more specific information I guess!

    Yes,Paypal will start bank withdrawls in August first week or second week.I dont think they will suspend bank transfer facility service forever like they dud for personal payments.

    since we have all given our PAN Card No., now RBI and ITO can track all our Tranction.

    i think paypal must be implementing some new EFT system to follow the guideline of GOVT of INDIA.
    wait for 2nd week of august
