I tried this service on Jan 4 2007 http://www.exactseek.com/featured_listings.html my site averages 1 to 5 unique visitors a day........ don't waste your money
They say your site will be rotated alongside others on their network and that of hundred others so there must be something wrong if you have that traffic. They also limit the number of advertisers so you should get thousands if not millions of hits on their network.
Have you tried autosurfs? I have been using them and my site went from 100 uniques to 900 per day in 1 day. I have noticed that the prettier your site looks the better response you get from visitors. Make sure that your page loads quickly because visitors will have only a few seconds to decide if they like you site or not.
I have used this service too... It was a complete waste of my money. The number of clicks generated is just pathetic. In all i have less than 100 clicks in 3 months! A good search engine ranking is much more effective.
It's a shame ... I started a "subscription" with them last year and finally had the sense to cancel it this month. When I first set it up for two websites, I received some very targetted visitors (about 10 or so a day) and got several sales with high commission. Then, after the first 3 months, I was lucky to get 10 visitors a month. Stupid me, I let the subscription run until this month. It would have been nice if they had stayed consistent.
Exact Seek is good for expanding your 'website' brand identity, but not good if your objective is only for traffic from your listing.
