why people are so care about dofollow and nofollow, it still count as backlinks from SE point of view....

Articlebase is quite good and they approve article fast and SE pretty love their articles, i got few of my articles being picked up by other webmaster through article base after few days of publish....this is the main objective i have been choosing AB.

I dont see much problem with this directory.

    Exactly

Not from what I can see... How are you checking this, the best way is with a firefox plugin or similar?

That is not Goggles official line although some people have been debating this as a possibility.

Since some of my articles net 7-10 visitors/day, articlesbase is plenty worth it, regardless of nofollow.

I think nofollow links are also good for ranking. have a look in the webmaster tools and there appear all links pointing to your site regardless they are dofollow or nofollow.

anyway, you may consider other directories. for example try e-articles.info :) 1 link = 12 links. see my sig.

For me, Ezine and Hubpages are the best article directories right now.

Could somebody educate me here please::)

Assumption: A "nofollow" link must have a "rel" attribute assigned to "nofollow", Example:
Observation: View the source code of a page and you'll see that authors' links on ArticlesBase do NOT have such "rel" attribute.

Well, either my assumption is incorrect or the observation, which one?

simonheng82 is correct, nofollow and follow links give you pretty much the exact same weight in SERPs the only difference is the follow links give juice to your site, nofollow doesn't.

OK, I tried this question two other way but didn't get answer, perhaps a bit aggresive method would help.:D- just kidding guys -

OK, here's the proof that ArticlesBase do not make authors' links "nofollow".

    Check here: http://www.articlesbase.com/disease...es/acute-wry-neck-or-torticollis-1492170.html

Now view the source code and search for "thephysiotherapysite.co.uk" and you'll find 4 occurance which 2 of them are clean and dofollow hyperlinks.

Now what do you have to say?:)

Yes, ArticlesBase.com is using nofollow. However, I see that ArticlesBase always get good ranking at Google for many targeted keywords.

But even though ArticleBase is now a no follow one, it still a good way of creating traafics to your website.
