Greetings, Hope I have posted this in the right forum....=) I have heared through friends that a couple of sites earn some big cash by comparing prices on cheap flight tickets. However from what I have seen the sites "scrape" all airlines sites and then populate their local database with information... Or they query each airline on the fly and display the results? But what I can not understand is on what they are making the money from? Just dont understand the businessmodell at all. Are they using a thirdparty affiliate api and get cash for each sale? How to check what they are using? I am trying to check by looking at the URLs on "book" button but it think the URL is cloaked. One of the sites - http://uk.flight24.com/ Select From and To and view the results. Anyone clever enough to enlighten me?
