As im starting to make money from adsense Im paranoid that my friends or family will click my ads for whatever reason. (jealousy or trying to help) Is it possible to ask Google if they can ban my citys IP adress from seeing my ads?

You cannot ask Google to ban a particular city from seeing ads on your site, and you also don't need to worry about it.
Adsense is smart enough to track invalid clicks. You will not get paid for those invalid clicks.

But you should contact adsense to clear your doubts and get more details about the situation.

u can just block your whole site for the Ip's u need . you can do it from Cpanel or plugin . That would solve the problem i guess .

Just hide your website from your friends so no one will click on your own ads.

simply tell them not to click. If they want to help you, they won't and if they are jealous, tell them that Adsense is everywhere and they can try somewhere else.

don't share your site's link with your friends or family, they will get you in trouble and yes google will ban you if they see people in your city clicking too many ads...

Setup special perks on your website for your friends. For instance if it's a forum give them a private forum to talk amongst themselves or whatever. The important thing is that you can tag your friends without them realizing it, then you can use that tag to skip showing the ads to them. If anyone catches on to there being no ads, tell them it's part of the perks and tell them that since you don't get paid for their clicks anyways it actually helps you that they don't see the ads.

have seen so many cases where friends click bombed another friend's ads to get them banned. friendship can turn sour any time and if you ever have any doubt in any friendship, you should not share your site URL with such "friends."

I know you can get lots of ip addresses from a country, like on blockacountry.com, but I don't know from a region or a city.
You shouldn't have shared your url anyway. Just tell your friends or family that you work on the internet but don't give your urls, if they ask simply tell them your site is not interesting it's just to make money.

Yes, but the advice is for later as well, let that be a lesson to you and don't reproduce the mistake. You'll sleep better and they don't need to know the details anyway.

    Thanks for the insight..
It seem best to just not share the adsense link with those that may create problems for you. This way there is no possible way to get banned. I'll protect my adsense link with friends in the future.
    cheers
