Um yeah ok. Ameican Hero for advertising toilet paper. lol. The All American of Toilet Paper.

Now if you want a semi American Hero who just died yesterday was Evel Knievel. Even Kenye West thought he was cool enough to copy his image in a recent video of his. Apparently the two settled the lawsuit case about 2 days before Evels death.

Don't know, but he went to the Great Toilet-Bowl about 2 weeks ago. DEFINITELY please don't squeeze Mr. Whipple at this point.

RIP, man. We, the generation of mass culture.

Dick Wilson (born Riccardo DiGuglielmo; July 30, 1916 – November 19, 2007), was a British-born American character actor who played the role of finicky grocery store manager Mr. (George) Whipple in over 500 Charmin toilet paper television commercials (1965–1989, 1999).

Thanks Bogart for that. I know they had some of the info on the yahoo page about his death. Apparently one of his daughters is big time actress/Melanie Wilson. She played in Family Matters, A Team, Perfect Strangers, Simon and Simon.

Dick Wilson was in a lot of shows. He played in Hogan's Hereos, Bewitched, Get Smart and about 50 other shows.
