Don't select "Restrict ranking to single country" United States

When updating the to the new script, I selected "restrict ranking to single country - United States" as my business is US related, don't sell outside of the US, US based server, etc.

The next time I ran the KWTracker my rankings which had been #1 for most of the last 2 years showed -9999. I immediately thought something had happened with the latest jagger update. For the last several days, the KWTracker showed -9999 but McDar was showing all data centers at #1. I figurered it was because of the API (which is usually ahead of datacenters).

I just figurered out that selecting "restrict ranking to single country - United States" was causing the bad data. I'm not sure if I am manually running the same search on google when I say to return results only in English, but it also shows #1.

Changing the KWT settings back to "no restriction" solved the problem, and I almost certain that if you choose "United States" it will cause the KWT not to work correctly.

No... if you tell it to return results only in English, that is the language restriction, not the country restriction.

What's your site address out of curiosity?

It was my mistake. I use several hosts - and that particular site runs interchange and has special memory requirements - and as shawn pointed out, the sever is actually located in Canada. So the "restrict feature" goes by where the server is based. Duh.
