Don't Pump gas on May 15th 07

    But how? Stopping buying gas for a day won't affect their income at all, surely? Their income doesn't come in from gas station forecourts on a daily basis, does it? Even if everyone did what you suggest and filled up the next day, or the day after that or the day after that, how would the oil companies' cashflow be any different? Also, I don't think the oil companies are the main factor determining gas prices anyway, are they?

    Green Technology requires funding and there is absolutely no other way to generate that sort of revenue other than to charge high gas prices to everyone. The world is now committed to keep the funding for bigger and better hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles evolving so pick up the pump and keep filling up for the future.

    yeah but how does higher pump prices correlate to new technology :confused:

    I'd find it highly suspect that a percentage of my gas is going to R&D or did I misunderstand you?

    High gas prices get people motivated towards ways to get out of paying those high gas prices and one way is to buy a hybrid , more buying hybrids and Toyota will manufacture more to meet demand

    that seems twisted but I suppose it holds true enough.

    how did the SUV craze get started...that's what got us here I think or part of the reason.
