Hello, I'm new to the forums and to internet marketing. There's so many things I can do that I don't know where to start. I'm currently attending college, I'm gonna start taking computer science courses in January. Do you guys think that's the right course for me? I want to learn about programming and everything I need to be successful in the internet marketing area.I was thinking about making a FaceBook meme fan page. I've seen a few of them and they gather alot of likes. I don't know how valuable these pages are, but I thought it was worth the risk. The owners even pay moderators so they post pictures all day long.By the way, I don't have a bank account or anything. I created a paypal account but I don't know exactly how to use it.As you can see, I don't know how to do anything. Do you guys think I can make more than 1k a month on the internet?
Maybe you can download some ebook to read first. You can also get all the "how to" tutorial on youtube.
A college degree will be really helpful in getting a job. You don't need a degree to succeed online - you need knowledge. Why don't you continue college while you try to set up your online business? Once you're making over $1000/month you can decide if you want to quit college or not.
First thing is first! There is so much free information out there, START READING but also START DOING! Jump in and don't be scared it's what I did, I am not rich but I do make a little bit of cash on the side! Money is money and it is going to take work to earn it!
well be success in any thing even in education or also in business you have to do hard work and one more thing punctuality is also necessary here.
Education and getting degree is very necessary as well because everything may loose but education remain as your own.
I suggest you slow down and think about what you really want to take up as a course in college. If you like programming and all that, then go for it. There's no course required to get in to internet marketing, although having a background knowledge of html and all that helps. There are plenty of internet marketing sites you can visit to help you learn affiliate marketing, such as ours. The key is to slow down, maybe write down a schedule for you to follow so you can organize your thoughts and your day as well and manage between studying and learning affiliate marketing. I think you should be doing simple google search as a start - it will answer most of your questions above. However, the single MOST IMPORTANT thing to be successful as a internet marketer is to TAKE ACTION - do not keep buying products, keep reading but do nothing. Again, take actions and learn it this way!
Google is a fellow CIS major's friend. The percentages of CIS jobs in the future look very pleasing so I would highly suggest you continue the CIS department in regards for it being worth it.
I think first of all you can collect some ebooks and read out thoroughly. No to do marketing until you get minimum level of knowledge otherwise you will consider as spammer. There are actually vast knowledge one have to gain to master all the sector of it. So start one by one!

This is not a good sign. if you don't know where to start internet marketing, do not ready to invest money on it, but you can do so many things, why don't you start to focus on one subject and be master of that field. You don't have to be the master of computer programming to sell product online. trust me, many Internet gurus are not as gig as you think
Do what you're interested in doing. There is no point in trying to make money from something that isn't appealing to you. Focus on one method then scale it up so you can move on to another.
Crazy thing is we all started out like you... I still remember making my first $0.03 online with a click on a Adsense ad... Just gotta start off slow.. Read a few books; try a few things... Most important step is to take action; DO SOMETHING... If it doesn't work, means you either found something that doesn't work or you're doing wrong... Just don't give up..
