I used to work as a sub-editor. Very, very long ago. Everyone in the press room would spend 7 hours smoking and reading porn. Then at 4 pm the news would come in from the reporters, very often over the phone. For 60 hectic minutes, it was working like crazy with the phone pressed against our right ears, smouldering cigarettes hanging from our lips and two fingers, one from each hand, pecking furiously at our trusty, rusty manual typewriters. Now, I take it easy. I write when I am moved to do so. I have my own blog. I write about weird things like "Hairless Pussies and 3-Foot Men". Is that called creative writing? Judge for yourself. I think you should be able to find that article about "Hairless Pussies and 3-Foot Men" quite easily. Google is your friend. Thank you.
Great to show how passionate you are about writing, that does make a difference. Unfortunately, just like in the days of desktop publishing when it first came out and everyone thought they were a graphic designer, same goes with writing and there is poor quality writing out there. Thanks for sharing, rg.
i luv writing wen i am motivated to most of the time its early in the morning its fun writing when inspiration strikes
Hmm outside of my work I usually need some kind of provocation to actually sit and create something well-grounded. Be it another article or something that has happened t me recently. Luckily that happens quite often
I agree. Writing is your passion,so don't think of getting paid. Just write as it is your hobby and eventually you will get paid.
