IE is still crap. Chrome all the way! IE needs to be standards compliant.

@Thales, please learn how to use the quote system so it renders properly and I can respond properly. And quit using bold in your posts. That's amateur-ish.

Needless to say, you STILL have not shown ANYTHING that disproves what I've said. If anything, your last link PROVES what I said! That the only way to get IE9 to attempt to perform like any other far more modern browser is to use plugins from third parties (like Google!). Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera already have all those features built in and require NO plugins. Reason #478 why IE9 is the worst browser on the planet.

The rest of your post is the same BS of yours, repeating that you don't know what you're talking about and can't back anything up. You claim you read and understood my links but the way you go on and on, it's obvious you have no clue what you read.

So now you confirm you are only a consumer and unaware of the technical issues surrounding IE9. I'm obviously talking technical issues to which you are oblivious to. Go away Thales. You're messing up the place.

Yeah. The best people can do is link to Microsoft sites to defend IE. Whether you know it or not, your link is to a Microsoft owned site. It spills the same Microsoft deceptions and excuses you'll find everywhere from them. "IE9 won't run the new stuff. It's not that we can't. It's that we don't want to." Sheesh.

NOTICE: NOBODY is able to find ANY web site that declares and proves IE9 is as advanced and more standards compliant than ANY other browser. NOBODY!

NOTICE: It is EASY to find MULTIPLE web sites that will show and prove the other browsers are far more advanced than IE9 and I've shown two.

(I'm talking non-Microsoft sites which, as I've said earlier, love to show what they can do but totally ignore 90% of what they can't do.)

This is the one of best replies on my opinion...

Also, I am thinking to ban IE users from some of my websites. ( it is horrible to make new designs just for IE users)

The thing is websites are supposed to 'adopt' valid coding practices set out by the WWC, HTML, CSS etc - not set out by Microsoft. Microsoft don't run the internet or decide what website code we should use.

You won't have to really. IE7+ isn't too bad. Just ban IE6 IMO.

@Thales I hope you do realize that 95% of this forum is composed of "microsoft sucks" without arguments to back it up so it's pointless replying back to them. Small note, I am a firefox user.

I prefer to use firefox rather than IE. Maybe I only use IE9 for cross browsing of our site.

@Scorpiono, another poster in this thread totally incapable of following links or understanding what he's read if he manages to read anything at all.

It isn't IE9 fault, most websites haven't really been updated to work with a browser that's more advanced then the other browsers. That's why IE9 is still in working stage.

Absolutely false! IE9 does not handle advanced features available for the web. ALL of the other browsers do. @crymtyme, you, too, don't seem to be able to read or understand.
