I just got a silly infraction for using my one MONTHLY bump on my domain for sale topic.
Why even have that feature if we're going to get in trouble for using it? I suggest to remove it.

Yes i did reply to the topic to add more details, but that was only because of another silly thing this forum imposed which is not letting us edit our topics. The topic was created days ago, and it needed more info.

Either way you cant bump a old topic by doing that anymore. So giving people infractions for "bumping" is just silly.

So now that monthly allowed bump was wasted, and i have an infaction because of your trigger happy moderators who do not take common sense into consideration when "moderating".

This forum becomes more ridiculous, annoying, and like a chore to use anymore.

You actually *can* edit the original post after a bump.

For some reason i remember the edit/bump link being the same, and clicking it only gave me the bump option, so i just assumed i couldnt edit it, which is why i replied. i didn't think i'd get in trouble since you can't actually bump a topic anymore by replying to it, and i assumed a moderator would understand that and use logic.

That old bumping rule was to prevent people from replying to a topic just to bump it, which you cant even do anymore, and i clearly wasnt doing that, or i wouldnt have used my MONTHLY bump, which apparently has been wasted, which only adds to the annoyance.

The post you added after you bumped the thread was really a waste of space that another quality post could take place, what will Shawn do when the hard drive gets full? That poor kid will not make money anymore and starve then will have to ultimately shut down this damn forum. All this is getting ridiculous.

Logging into this site alone will get you 5 infractions anymore.

Members make the forum, why chase all the long term legit members away?

Once you bump a thread, you have 8 hours (or so) to edit the first post.
    Hope that helps
