Don't forget all other search engines

Hi Guys,

Just a reminder for all you SEOers. Make sure you also rank in the search engines outside of google. OBVIOUSLY google is the most important. But, they is still some traffic coming from other search engines. These could be sales you are missing out on.

Is there any specific ways to get better rank in etc. yahoo? With google everything is simple..

 

I dont used to waste my time on other search engine, I submit to them if i come across link to submit...

 

MSN is almost dead (compared to google and yahoo)
ASK brings less traffic than MSN
Yahoo is great for the simple fact that it provides the search results for many, once popular, search engines
Other SE are a waste of time

I don't think the resource investment for "the other search engines" (TOSEs) are worth it... Better concentrate on Google and Yahoo. It depends on the keywords also. For "Philippine education", which I am working on, Yahoo is still a big competitor against Google since many users in the Philippines still prefer Yahoo.

 

I personally find it WAY easier to rank for yahoo and msn (obviously) and still get some converting traffic from them both to my sites. Some traffic is better than no traffic!

 

Yes you are right but not many people use other search engines,So we are not missing much
