Hey guys, I did a web layout for mat7tam, and he was paying me 150 bucks...he said he couldn't pay all at one time, so 80 would come first, and then 75 the next day.... he paid the 80, i gave him the files....never paid me the other 75. I've emailed him, messaged him, PMed him, not responding. I sent him a pm today, and he is online, saying that if he did not pay in 30 minutes I would report him. So I am. Don't deal with him, he scammed me out of 75 dollars. BTW, it's been a week and a half since he paid 80
Gosh. This really sucks! So many people trying to cheat people... Well at least, you received nearly 50% of it. That's good. It could have been worse
Ya, it could have been worse, but still, I designed it, and coded it, and was told i would recieve 150 dollars. But I got scammed. Oh well. I sent him another email to the other email of his I got, I'll see what happens..
Theres no reason to give a PSD before the rest of the payment is received. Give them a preview, if they like it, they pay the rest and you send them the PSD. Send him a paypal invoice (or whatever it is that requests money) for $75, maybe he will pay. If you want to do half before and half after they receive the PSD, tell them if they dont pay the second half, its no longer exclusive to them and you reserve the right to sell/give away the template.
tell him about this thread also link his profile here so that people would know who he is? Also all of us need to be cautioned about the 50% advance n 50% later deals.
Report him dude. If he posts again with services, we'll get him then. Besides - never give goods without recieving full payment. (unless rep and itrade overwhelms you )
hey, i got an infraction for that post...how is that harrasing other members? I was saying that he is a scammer? I don't understand sorry....also, how can i report him?
