No, as long as you are logged in you will not see your own ad. Just don't go clicking for the sake of clicking, that's just wrong.

Google would also like to point out the recent changes to the terms of use.

you may NOT join adsense if you suffer from any of the following:
    Tourettes syndrome
    Obsessive-compulsive disorder
    Severe Parkinson’s disease
    Kleptomania

Now that's classic. Only one problem though. All webmasters have some degree of obsessive-compulsive disorder (just take the fact that we check our Adsense stats around every 15min)... so they'll be left without ANY publishers. :p

I think I got the gist of this thread. I am not suppose to click on ads on my site. So, umm how about double clicking? Did they say double clicking is wrong? What if I get like 7 clicks a day and less than 6 are from me and my friends is that OK? What if clickk on my own ads and never did anything wrong otherwise is that OK? What if I post about it and try to conceal that most of the $17 of clicks that I had when Google banned me for no apparent reason were accidental clicks? Google just likes to pick on kids!

I click my own ads 10 times a day for 2 years now... Adsense did not even notice. The trick is to use a proxy. Now i have managed to steal $4.900 of advertisers money! Mwaaaaa-haaaaaa-haaaaaa!!!

Thats a joke by the way, Yea, dont click on your own ads. If you do, contact adsense straight away or lose your account.

I am so *&^%$#@ clumsy, I click one of my own ads almost every week.

Google should, IMHO, allow us to enter IP's from which they should ignore clicks.

Nah, too easy. And how would G be able to test the character of their publishers?

I think that is an excellent idea. I mean, it is just normal for advertisers to once in a while see what sites are being advertised on their own pages, right?

    How about this forum.

This is an ad revenue sharing forum. Lets say I see a good ad and click on it, later it turns out to be my own adsense ad?

If you just can't control yourself no matter how hard you try, just add the follow to your Windows "hosts" file and your computer will do it for you. You won't be able to click on any other Adsense content ads either, but that might be best for this condition.

    i like it,
the ads are not hidden, i only have 3 units, all highly visible banner types,
it goes banner, product, banner, product etc...which i dont see a problem with. It provides a service, namely freeproducts, not stuff you have to pay for.
and i dont even want to put ad links on it..which i could

and yet i sense some sarcasm in your post...

I don't see how making a post 6 months ago saying "don't click your own ads" (because so many people at the time were posting " i clicked my ads as a test")
has anything to do with that sites adsense placement
