Are you talking about clicking YOUR ad or ads that are on your site?

You can click your ad all you want but its going to cost you money everytime you do.

If you click ads on your site it violates the TOS because you are basically making money for yourself and costing the advertiser money when you clicked the ad. So basically you could sit there and click the ads on your site all day long and make money. That is why you dont click the ads on your site. You WILL get banned. They seem to catch tons of people.

If you clicked ads on your site I would atleast try to email them and tell them it as an accidental click and to refund the money.

What google (and other companies) do, is let you check a box to say you have read the TOS. You can check that box without even opening the TOS-url.
Why don't the split up the TOS in 10 pages, and let you watch them (no continue button) for 3 minutes per page. Maybe then people will actually read the TOS's ...

I am guilty of not reading TOS on software/sites/ect. as I am sure MANY of us are. But Google Adsense TOS is probably the only one that I read and strongly suggest to everyone that uses it reads it.

Oh, I'm like you aaron, I never read TOS's too :) but when money is involved (paying or receiving) it's a different game: i read it or at least print it out to read later on.

and with Adsense, the threads just on this forum about people being banned make me think why Google want to do it this way: accept almost everyone and then ban people who didn't read the agreement they made with google? Why not just make sure they actually now what they are getting into? Make a list of 10 things "not to do with your adsense account"?

I once joined a site that had a simmilar checkbox and I clicked it and pressed continue. It came back with a message: "You can't have read the agreement in 3 seconds, please go back and read it!" -- I liked that :)

and dan182skater: DO contact google, email them with your IP, date, time and advertiser you clicked on! they will cancel the click, refund the money to the advertiser. And next time: do not click on the ads on your own site and while you are here reading our posts, go back to google.com and get the tos, print it and read it. remember you agreed with it so you might as well know what you agreed upon
