If you ever had the sneaking suspicion that your online navigational habits have gotten into a rut, this site will confirm it. http://www.dontclick.it/
cool work but when i try to add my name ( without clicking) it won't work. it goes to th comment box. of course i am forced to click..
Excellent piece of research, I guess this would reduce the incidence of 'Carpel Tunnel Syndrome', but anyway we use the keyboard. So, I don't think there is much difference. I guess, this project would get big with people who are disabled (certain motor functions) and could navigate using gestures. Let see how well this goes. Thank you for sharing this profound piece of information pcdoc.
wow.. that was cool! maxcage has a good point. it can bridge the gap for disabled people. hope this technology can go further in progress..
Erm... How? Screen readers can't read flash - thus stopping any partially sighed users from being able to get any information from the site at all. Also you can't use hot keys which tends to be the preferred method of navigation for accessible users.
Well, probably using sensors and readers. It would be of much use. Well, like the screens that are moved in the movie 'Minority Report' starring Tom Cruise.
Clicking rulz, not clicking sucks! But yea, i dont think they will be able to change the way things work.
