Buy if it is domain name lessthan 5 letters..then only you can sell....

If you have to money to invest it's not a mistake .. buy some good ones now, put a niche website .. it will have a PR2, PR3 the next year and in 3 years you can sell .. good luck

I have bought many domains I never needed and still have many that I've never used BUT there are a few that I bought that if I had passed them up, I would be kicking myself today. So what if you spend $40 on five $7.99 sites you don't need if that 6th $7.99 .com domain turns out to be just the perfect one you needed.

Yes, don't go wild buying a bunch of domain names on speculation if you don't have a plan, and be selective. But don't pass up that "great" name just because you have made a few bad decisions in the past.

Like most, i have made this mistake... i've had some domains for over 3 years, and i've spent about $300 just keeping them under my belt, and am only just getting around to developing them... start small, start with one site, and work on it... don't buy unnecessarily, as you'll more than likely end up just throwing money away. Sound advice

Unless you are sure you have time launching a site or at least selling the domain - do not do it.
