I see publishers jumping from network to network and running only the highest payout offers. Obviously highest payout is a good thing and we all would want to get the highest payout on an offer. You're running traffic to the offer so you want to get the most money out of your campaigns. BUT....just because a network has a high payout it doesn't mean you're getting the most out of it. Here is an example: You join C2M and you start running an email submit at $1.35 (our default payout - we can give you a bump if you do 100+ leads a day) so you're running it for a week and do well. I give you a pay bump to $1.50 and you run it for another week at 200 leads a day. You also work with 3 other networks and you browse through their email submits. You hit up your account manager and say "hey I'm doing 200 + leads a day with C2M can you give me more than $1.50 a day" ...what does he say? Hell yea I can give you more. I'll give you $1.75 per lead. You get all excited and think you just won the lottery. You start running with them now and it looks awesome the first day but then you see your leads drop each day, and it's 50 less leads on day 3 but you're still spending the same amount on advertising and sending the same exact traffic you did before. So WTF is going on you ask? Here is what is going on: YOU ARE GETTING ROBBED! Unestablished networks, new networks, no relationship networks do this just to make a quick buck and they throttle (scrub) the $h1t out of you. Be smarter than that! If you see a network paying out a lot more than other networks on an offer find out why, hit up your AM and ask them. Compare your EPC. Do your research! How old is the network? New networks will give higher payouts just to get your business but they will scrub you more just to make it up. If all the networks are paying $5 a lead on an offer and this one network is paying $9 per lead then something is fishy here. They will pay you out $9 per lead but scrub (steal) 1 lead just to make up the different for each lead if it was at the lower payout. This is a common practice for new networks so watch out. Ask them why their payout is so high and see what they say. There are some exception why one network might have a higher payout then other like a great relationship with the advertiser, network does tons of volume that advertiser is happy so the they give the network a pay bump. Network is working directly with the advertiser where some networks are brokering the offer from other networks. What is my EPC? Split test your offers with the networks that have that offer. Run it for a couple days and rotate your links and look at your EPC. It's not about how much you're getting paid on an offer, it's about your EPC. If your EPC sucks on an offer that is paying you more than any other network than you know there is a problem. Relationship Building a relationship with a network is HUGE! Get to know your account manager. Get to know your network, get noticed! Don't be just another publisher id in a network. If you have any problems hit up your AM, don't be shy. If 3 days pass and you haven't heard back from them than ask yourself why am I wasting my time making that network money where there are other networks out there where I can get service almost 24/7. One thing we strive at C2M is our support. Our account manager are working almost 24/7, yea you might get those weekends where you might not get an answer right away but we'll get back to you within 24 hours for sure. If you're loyal to C2M, we'll be loyal to you. If you have any questions hit me up and I'll take care of you. What are you running now? Are you running right now with other network? How do you know you're not getting robbed? Split test that offer with us. If we don't have that offer just let me know the name of the offer or send me a link to it and I'll see if we can get that offer. Split test it with us and see how it compares to you running it with another network. I bet you it will work better with us!
