Dongles and network printer - Help!

I and my husband have just started using vodaphone dongles to access the internet. Previously we accessed it through our home network.
We have a wireless network printer, but since we started using the dongles, we find that our home network is not found when searching for available networks - this means we cannot use our printer. Has the dongle overwritten something?
Is there an easy way to resolve this or can I simply use the router discs to reinstall the network? If I do this, will it cause any problems?

We only want to use the printer on the network....why is it so diffucult?
Should I just pick the nearest window and chuck the damn computers, printers and dongles out of it!!!!!

Any help to this desperate, grumpy old woman would be appreciated.

Is the Vodaphone dongle that you is for a mobile broadband? If yes, then it is for accessing Internet only and not your home network.

To access the network printer, you need to have a USB Wifi Dongle if you use a desktop.
