I have made major colour changes to my website with your help in this forum. I would now like your honest opinion on my website now that I think it is ready.

    Thankyou.

Colors are nice, subtle and work well together.
On another note, when you click on any of the topics, for example, Pets>To Sell... when that page loads, the text looks weird. It is way to tall and narrow, there are like 3 words per line. The same thing happens with all other topics.
Otherwise, nice site and good luck with it:)

I think it looks great, very professional.
To me the cities and categories look a shade too small, but I guess that's what's happening on the web nowadays.
At the top, "the fats and simple way..." could be a stronger font.

Very intuitive interface when posting an ad too.

yes, I like this, but the number of posts after the sub topics is very faded on my mac, maybe darken a little more.

Will make them more prominent after there are no zeros left! I dont want to fill the site with affiliate links as adverts, I want real original ads on the site from real posters. Its so hard to get a classifieds site looking busy. Some will add fake ads, I don't. Thank you for the advice. I appreciate all the help this forum is giving me.

Looks really great. I like the pastel colors and the layout and design is very clean and easy to follow. One thing I would do is to put your AdSense in the body either above or more likely below the Featured Ads. Otherwise looks very professional. Nice job!

    Hey canaryspace!

I checked your site in FireFox and Internet Explorer and found out a small difference - in the Search Block in FF the 'Go' button is positioned under the input fields, but in IE - at the side of 'Community' field.

    I like your site!
    You did a great job!

Very nice. The first thing I noticed is that its not cluttered like most classifieds sites I find on the net, nor does it display some of those ever-annoying flashy banners. I like the colours, it's organized and doesn't throw a billion links at the user all at once, and navigation is very simple. Great work. =)

Thank you again! I have a smile on my face now at last! The hard bit now is advertising it. I have submitted it using my submission software, so I guess I now need ideas on how to make a classified ads site busy with real adverts. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated to get the ball rolling.

    Thankyou again

    Simon.

Hi, colours are nice, but the web itself looks like from an old school. Too much corners I think. But it is only my opinion as I see, so don't worry about it :)

I am so happy with this positive feedback that I am getting for my website from Digital Point members. This forum has really helped me out a lot with my websites. I didn't realise how important website colours and themes are until now. Since I changed the colours, people are staying on the site a lot longer than when I first built it 3 days ago and it was sort of multi coloured and blindingly headache bright!

    Thankyou again.

    Simon.

Ok, as sudgested by ThailandMusings, I have placed the adsense code under the featured ads. I am hoping this is not against Googles rules, beacuse it looks exactly like a featured ad post, only slightly to the left of the featured ads. Is this against Googles policies?

    Cheers
