Hello all and thanks for viewing,
I have come up with an idea that I figured I'd post here to see what it brings. Below is a cutout of a little pamphlet I did, so I will paste that below to tell you my story. Basically, I am trying to raise money to help pay for expenses to go to this competition (read below). I am hoping to raise around $1,000-$2,000 myself. I am putting as much money as I can into it, however, it will be tough to get close to enough. I am also heading off to college next year so my budget is quite tight. Once you give a donation, you have the option to place a logo/webpage address onto the shirt. This shirt will be worn from when I leave my house, to when I arrive in Hungary. At the competition, it should attract some attention. I can't guarantee it will bring a lot visitors or attention to your business, but it is a little something to compensate for donations. Depending on the amount, you can get a larger logo, etc. If you have any questions, comments, etc. you can post here, email me, or PM me. Thanks again for looking.

Would you like to sponsor Patrick Kelly for the Rubik’s Cube World Competition in Budapest, Hungary in early August of 2007? By doing so, you will not only be supporting my cause, but will also have your organization or business spread throughout the world.

I am currently a Senior at Alamosa High School and can solve a scrambled Rubik’s Cube in 20 seconds on average. Since late February of 2006, I have spent countless hours practicing to speed-solve the Rubik’s Cube. Throughout this time I have been practicing variations of this puzzle: 2x2, 4x4, 5x5, one-handed, and blindfolded. I hope to make use of all this practice at this world competition and work with the best speed-solvers in the world.
    -43-quintillion combinations
    -Invented in 1979
    -Nearly 300 million cubes sold
-One out of every four Americans has attempted this feat.
What I am asking from you is a monetary donation (no amount is too small) to help with the expenses of traveling to Hungary. In return, I will wear a shirt with sponsorship logos and names. With the help of the community, I can make this opportunity a reality.

If you have any questions or comments, or would like a demonstration, please do not hesitate to contact Patrick at pjkcards[at]gmail.com .
