Should Americans Beware??? Acquiring Shotguns Solicitation Number: TIRWR-10-Q-00023 Agency: Department of the Treasury Office: Internal Revenue Service (IRS) I hadn't previously realized the IRS was so eager to collect our money that they had developed their own SWAT force. The link is to a purchase bid form the IRS put in for MORE guns than the ones it is implied they already have. *Music begins ... "What ya gonna do? What ya gonna do when they come for you?"
I have a problem understanding how these "terror alerts" and their "scales" work, yellow, orange, red, kinda like Richter earthquakes scale, instead here, the scale is determined before the potential terrorist attack start, not after it. what does it mean when it is "red" for normal people? oops that's easy, it means "beware" but "beware" of what? silly me, of course of the potential terrorist attack.. but how to "beware"? do not sleep? do not go to work? do not use transportation? do not use planes? do not get close to any crowded area? and keep your eyes open, if you saw any person wearing a T-shirt written on it "hey, I m a terrorist in my way to attack"? then report him to uncle Sam. people should always BEWARE of potential terrorists, criminals, and also of their own governments when they try to scare them, to distract attention from real issues. regardless who been behind 9/11 and whether people knew all about it, or not yet, it happened, and innocent people died in it, terrorists used it once, for some reason, but some governments, used it many more times than once, using it almost everyday, if the terrorist main goal was to scare people, then US government is helping them a lot! if the terrorist main goal was to make people feel unsafe, insecure, then US government is helping them a lot. and the big question here, what did the 2 direct continues wars achieve? one is 9 years old, and the other is 7 years old, in Iraq and Afghanistan, and many non-direct conflicts in other parts of the world, did they make US more secure? is the threat on national security is ONLY the one that terrorist cause? what about the threat on each family security of those who lost their jobs? and many other types of threats on security, that NOBODY there is interested to make scales and alerts for them, don't get more wrong, terrorists should be dealt with, but they should not be a reason to fool you.
I forget the state, but during the 60s/70s there was a shootout in a California town between a few people (maybe it was one individual) and an entire police battalion. Not sure what the weapon the crazy person used to take on the police, but immediately after that the police department was issued a bunch of assault rifles to take on regular patrols; this had never been done before. When there is a monopoly on the use of legitimate force owned by the government, rest assured any tiny occurrence will be used as support for increased central power. That being said, I think this news is a little old...I can remember reading stories about the IRS arming itself during periods of low economic viability in order to scare people into remembering to not make cuts on their taxes....Also not telling anyone that they don't actually need to pay their Federal Income tax (so I have heard )
Fortunately, they won't shoot you for just forgetting to pay your taxes. 9.2.3.5.2 (01-23-2004) When Deadly Force May Be Used Special agents may use deadly force only when necessary when, in the considered opinion of the special agent, the special agent or another person is in imminent danger of loss of life or serious physical injury. 1. "Imminent" has a broader meaning than "immediate" or "instantaneous." 2. A subject may pose an imminent danger even if he/she is not at that very moment pointing a weapon at the agent. 3. Deadly force may be used to prevent the escape of a fleeing subject if there is probable cause to believe the subject has committed a felony involving the infliction or threatened infliction of serious physical injury or death and the escape of the subject would put the special agents or others in imminent danger of serious physical injury or death. 4. Special agents may direct deadly force against dogs or other vicious animals when necessary in self defense or defense of others.
