I have another dilemnia with choosing a domain for my blog. The blog will not be one niche, it will be 3-4 that are relatively different (say example; Music, gaming, general life stuff, etc) So, Since it is not focused in one niche, I dont think using keywords would be great as it would favor one niche, and neglect/take away credibility to the other niches.. So I was thinking of some kind of semi-descriptive wordset that would relatively describe something rather than being direct with keywords.. For example again; say the site was based on landscape photography and newage music, you could name it something atmospheric to set the mood such as like "CloudySky.com" or so.. So my question basically, would that work for a blog? I noticed in some "top-earning blog" lists, theres people like Nick Denton who have high ranking sites like Kotaku, which to my knowledge has no meaning on the general direction of the site (that one is gaming, right?) so.. It obviously can be done.. just wondering how common or if it will cause any harm/problems for me in the future.
Descriptive wordset is a better choice than keyword in such situation. So try to think up a cathy one.
