In terms of ranking and/or pull; What domains are considered 'more important' on google search? I once read an article that said .edu domains had a higher credibility than other extensions. As a Canadian business owner, I want to know if i should register a .ca or other extension? I would imagine most of my customers would be coming from Canada & the US. Any advice? Does anyone have a list or a resource to find such information? Thanks in advance
The best is to have .com domain if you need good ranking at google.com.. If you need good ranking at google.ca I think you should you .ca domain..
This is a very important question for all of us that live outside USA. It's much easier to get linkings from domains .com than from .com.br (Brazil). As much as I try, there is no way to increase significantly my .com.br backlinks.
