Simple questions, can we buy domains that contain a known company name or a known website? And if we do, can we re-sell these domains in those escrow/sedo services or are they going to close our account? For example: www.dell-------.com www.twitter------.com
you mean sedo or escrow will close ur account ? Definetly not , the only way you can loose the domain is when the company or a website name u registered , if they come and claim it legally then u will only loose the domain name and nothing else will happen i blv. This is only when the company which owns the rights for the name or registered the name which u have registered. correct me if im wrong .
I think there is a lot of propaganda out there about registering domains like this. I stumbled across paypalsucks.com and that site seems to be very popular. Paypal is a very huge company (merged with ebay!) and has been around for quite a while now. I think paypalsucks.com would have been shut down by now. I've personally see websites that were www.(company name)sucks.com and that company bought the site for a certain amount of money to then shut it down. Good luck to you!
If they have made it as brand,you will probably loose if they inform it to associated organization.But you can have a try since it‘s so common now.
