Hi, I have a 10 .Us domain names of fortune 500 companies.... I think this domains should be brought by those respective companies.... How can I approach those companies to ask them an offer to own this domains? Is there any risk involved in this trade, i.e., trademark or any!!! Will those companies prefer to buy thier .Us extension? Have you ever had this kind of trade?
ICANN's Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy states: Which is grounds for the domains to be taken from you.
If you have such domain names you'd better place the offer on the forums and related sections and be sure if they are interested they will contact you. I think that is not good idea at all to contact them first. They might consider as you are interested and the price will be lower
Congratulations, you just wasted $60 if you bought them at Name.com And you have a HUGE liability on trademark infringement, especially if you're making money from those parked pages. STAY AWAY FROM TRADEMARKS! Is that so hard to understand?
I guess you have had a quick lesson in domain names. next time try and be unique as you may be lucky to get away with this without litigation.
There's always a starting point and a learning curve in business. This must be lesson number 1 for you mate.
Thanks for this strong suggestion... But, the question now is what I should do with the domains names I have?????
Contact them and try to sell the domains. Best thing you could do is to get back the money you paid for them.
Erase the DNS from the registrar and let them expire. You'll be wasting your time trying to contact these companies and you'll probably get sued. It's best to just accept your losses now and learn the lesson.
