1-2 years ago, domainers make $x,xxx per mth. Yes,but now its hard to achieve that about due to recession. How easy to make $x,xxx per mth from domaining these days? It depend on what kind of domain you own.The more premium the more easy you can get a good price for it. How much domain inventory do hold at any time? Holding 1-10 premium domain at each time is consider normal. Low price-high volume (Low cost) or High price-low volume (Premium) strategy? For me i like go for high end coz this the one that can make thousand from a single domain sales
It can still be very profitable, but due to the massive surge in webmasters recently due to the recession and unemployment, a lot of the valuable domains are taken, so you'll find you have to buy domains off other people rather than the registrar to get some decent ones. IMO the real money would be in keeping the domains for a few years, then sell them then when ALL the good domains are gone.
