    The important thing is to have different keywords for your different pages. For example, one page might feature tennis shoes, so that one should have keywords which are several variations of "tennis shoes". Another page might feature dress shoes, so that page should have several keyword variations of "dress shoes".

    Spot on. I suggest anyone interested in this reads up on LSI keywords - basically about using related keywords in your article to use context to increase both traffic and SEO
