Domain with fake pagerank

Hi DPers
I had red conversations among users in Domains Marketplace, seemed they were fighting about valid and invalid domain pagerank. The problem was about selling domain with PR0 can be transfered to PR8 by redirecting the domain to higher page rank. How do we avoid those fraud? Sorry if my english is still understandable

I usually do it manually by checking whois data(checking things like age), and then also checking backlinks. Normally if it looks too good to be true, then it probably is. But if you are after a good tool, you can check out prchecker.info which I've always found to be pretty reliable.
