Our company is taking ownership of another company. The company has it's own website, but the url has nothing to do with the company name or company name acronym. The most basic search does not bring up their info on Google's first page. The company is keeping their name (think medical center - endowers get to name their buildings). Would it be better for the company to have a separate domain name from Our website or would it really matter if metatags, etc. were done properly? I think they've got about 10 pages total. Thanks for your opinion folks.
