    Hi guys,

Would you pay 1500$ for a domain with a potential of 3 million searches a month (G only) ?
Is it a minus if this domain is org and not com ?

    Appreciate your answers

It would depend on whether they can prove it gets good, solid
    traffic.

If you are just talking domain, a domain's potential is only as
good as the person doing SEO. You can take xyz.com and make
it rank for anything you wish.

There is really no "potential." If you mean the domain has keywords
that get searched, remember, domains don't get ranked. Websites
do. It may give it a little, very small push, but you still need to do
a whole lot of SEO. I can give you an unlimited amount of examples
of nonkeyword domains going #1. How about this forum, as a start.

SO, if you are just talking domain only, I'd politely decline.

If you mean an established website, then $1500 might be a bargain.

It depends on the type of traffic it can bring and whether you can monetise that traffic. If you are confident about 3 million searches for that exact term and that you can make money from those visitors then I would definitely consider paying that amount.

Having an exact match domain with no hyphens or additional numbers or characters will definitely provide you with a good start to get the site ranking well.

This is the case ! Exact match for a huge technological niche.
I know SEO pretty good and I believe I can take this to the top 5 results.
