Domain Transferred Cancelled With No Reasons

    Hello,

I've been using a hosting reseller a while back, and i had one domain that was that was not registered on a registrar but on that hosting reseller site which is http://www.dailyrazor.com.

I've tried to transfer one of my domain but they don't give me good explainations of why they didn't allowed the transfer of one of my domain. Also they are trying to scare me more than support me which makes me laugh a lot,

Regarding http://www.icann.org/transfers/dnholder-faq-03nov04.htm, a reseller domain and registrar should give a good explaination on why they didn't allowed the transfer of one domain, instead of giving explainations, they criticize me.

How can i transfer my domain without problems, what are the issues to that kind of problem when a reseller doesn't want to transfer a domain name that belongs to me to my other registrar?

Thanks for any solutions, i just need to tranfer that domain name, and they don't want.

    Patrick

Get domains with hosting services are just a pain.

I got one and they charged me for the renewal but cancelled the domain for no reason when I refuse to renew the hosting a couple of weeks later.

However they renewed my domains so I thought I should wait for a whole year to get it back after they drop it but not.

After about 40-45 days they released the domain and I was able to register it again, this time using a registrar service, not a hosting.

All you need to do is get the transfer code and submit transfer. Has nothing to do with the hosting or registrar if you get transfer code here is how it works.

    1. get transfer code from current registrar. "All Codes are supplied by Verisign not registrar" for security of verification

    2. go to new registrar and request Transfer of domain. "If they have email and or fax verification check the one that works for you"

    3. When new registrar asks for reg key. Enter Reg Transfer Key.

    4. now here is where most fail. The registrar that you are TRANSFERRING TO will send confirmation of transfer to you using what ever email or fax you have on the "Who Is" info for the domain being transfered. Make sure this info is correct before requesting a transfer and make sure that you are not using a spam filter because these emails are usually trapped by spam filter. Also Remember that the Transfer code needs to be copied to a text editor lite NOTE PAD before coping it to the new domain registrars enter Transfer code Box. This will make sure that the code is not translated from web site to text. Many issues can arrive when you copy code from one browser window to another using HTML to text conversion. If not type it in and make sure it is actually correct. L and l and I and i can look like the number 1 some times or visa versa.

    4. Make sure to respond to email versification or the FAX and then go back to the Registrar you are transferring too and check that they have updated your TRANSFER STATUS to "WAITING ON TRANSFER FROM CURRENT REGISTRAR. If your new registrar does not have a status of transfer section contact them and ask them to make sure they got your approval either email or fax.

    5. Once you have performed all this step by step your transfer should go through and if it fails you will receive the failure email. The Email will happen and it has to come to address of Domain Who Is. Also if it states the Transfer Code was wrong go back and do the process again and read this thread to make sure your code is correct. If you must contact the old registrar that you are transferring from and ask them to read the code to you or ask them to re-sink codes from Verisign / ICANN authoritative for Transfer Codes.

This process works and I have transfered from over 1000 registrars just fine with a couple giving me issue with the code. It is not in Registrar control to deny if Domain is unlocked and Transfer code is performed right because they have no real control after that point.

This Actually works and it can not be stopped if done correctly.

Yeah well, that is a load of interesting informations, as far as i know it, it was a pain in the ass to get the EPP code from those guys. Or even get my passwords to connect to my account (that changed). Also at one time those guys try to make me pay 380$ a year for a hosting package, how cute!

I'll try to re transfer and see how it goes like
