Just curious have any of you guys did a domain registrar transfer with 1and1 if so how long did it take? Also is there any companies out there that transfer domains like immediately or fast?
1and1 is very random with this. Usually takes about a week, but they will probably try to mess with you a few times. The first transfer I did, I got an error, so I called Customer Service, and they told me to redo the transfer because something went wrong. I did NOT redo it, and it went through. (Yeah, CS sucks) Second one, I was waiting for an email or anything, and boom, it went through. Like I said, very random.
Ummm, wrong! 1and1 can/will find ways to delay it like if you don't unlock the domain, or something else. My longest was just over 2 weeks, even with EVERYTHING setup correctly for the transfer.
I transferred a domain with in 1 week,1and1 support staff also would help if u contact via email regularly to know status and remember u must know the auth code n unlock the domains
