I have transfered one of my domain from godaddy to namecheap and on namecheap it says

"EPP code is required for properly transferring smartpixels.net. Please click on the link to enter EPP code."

I don't know what is the EPP code and where to find it out... can anyone please help me on this?

    Please its urgent.

    Thank you

    You can use this information

Generally it is listed in the control panel of Godaddy. Run a help query in Godaddy to locate it.

Thank you aspire, Godaddy navigation is very hard thats why I decided to leave it.

I couldn't find it in the control panel but the link you provided helped me in finding it :)

I have entered the EPP code now and it says

EPP code has been submitted successfully. It will take up to 3 hours for the transfer to be initiated.

    Thank you very much

Yes it is the same for all domains, to prove you are the owner you need an authorization code and that is what this is.

Every domain comes with such code when it´s bought seperate from the hosting, hosting offers that give you a free domain with their hosting don´t offer to control the domains or to move it to another registrar, in this case it must be done over a request to the hoster and is combined with a small fee the most times.
