Just wondering that if you get a domain transfered do you lose the previous nameserver settings from the last provider?
when the domain gets transferred the name servers remain the same. it's worth checking the various configurations of your domain in your control panel when transferred to see if you can easily make any changes if necessary
I have found it depends on whether you're moving from one hosting company to a domain registrar, ie Hostgator to Dynadot. I found hosting companies lose business therefore change the nameservers to blank or whatever they were when you joined. Though if the transfer is internal, ie Dynadot to Dynadot, then it will remain the same. As for registrar to registrar, ie GoDaddy to Dynadot, it could be either one of the above scenarios, I find usually it's left the same, though have had certain times when it was changed. Therefore it really depends on what you're moving and where from/who to. Sorry this wasn't as simple as you'd most probably hoped for, all the best.

And have you contacted your Registrar and asked about this? I suppose that their support should explain you everything you may need to know about their service.
Check with your registrar to be sure, but I know that at our company EconomicalDomains we keep the nameservers the same if you transfer a domain name to us.
