People generally don't prefer to have number in domain name, but I have seen lots for good sites with number. For me, I prefer adding number in domain name to get good short .com domain name. Like if I want to start a hollywood site, I will prefer registering domain name like 2hollywood.com instead of long domain name like ILikeHolloywood.com
Hello aap, Do you know of any specific established site that uses number before a domain name like your sample? That would be interesting to find out.
It depends how long the domain name is and what site you are developing on it. If you have short domain name not more than 4 words and had a great website built on it, it'll be good.
Except for two numbers 2 and 4... which has two frequently used words (to & for) backing them up, I do not think it would be easy and good, to use any other numbers to start a domain name! Regards, RightMan
So, Rightman, it's okay to have a domain like 3domainname.com? or 9rightman.com? Will Google be suspicious of a domain with a number on it?
Depends on the context...for instance: Good: 24hours.com 1800contacts.com Bad: 1stereo.com 6design.com
Well, if there is a very popular keyword in that domain, it doesn't matter whether it's hard to remember it.
domain keyword quality becomes less and less important for SEO what is important is how easy it is to remember for people visited it ones and want to come back Thus, 3l1t3Ta1k.com is not a good idea for a company website.
And who would want to buy a domain like that? 3l1t3Ta1k.com 1 and l conflict each other. I don't mean a lot of numbers, but just one number. like axtsurf9.com. Gets?
overall, my advice is not to use numbers for domain if you're starting out business and have no money to market the business website. After all, a website or business company only well known if they do lot and lot of marketing.
It depends on the situation. It must be memorable, so people will not experience a hard time remembering your website.
Read this for an answer http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1840580 Assuming that is related to an initial number zero, or is it a capital "o"?
Wow, thank you mystique for the link. But that 3 letter domain is nowhere to be found. Maybe for some 7 or 8-letter word, that would still be possible.
