    Friends,
I have taken domain form Godaddy long back, has my site on one of free hosting services.
Now i would like to move to some paid hosting. Which is the best one?
If I take some other hosting (other than godaddy) will it be a problem?
250 MB is Enough, Should provide good support and be easy to install or configure etc.....

Could you please reply as soon as posible?

    Thanks a ton in advance.....

    smart.

No, it won't be any problem. You'll just set the DNS nameservers to your hosting provider.

I can't give you a good advice on which paid hosting is the best, as I usually use free hosting. However, I once tried eqwebhost.com and it was OK, good support & easy. And their hosting plans are cheap.

Most people seems to be using Hostgator.com for their web hosting needs.

Confusing plans they have there. Well, you did say you only need 250mb so the Low Space High Bandwidth should meet your needs EQH1.

Basically, the 500mb should cover your 250mb space needs and the 15gb bandwidth means that you can have a lot more visitors compared to the other plan.

    Hostgator, Sevage, and ASmallOrange.

    Hi
There many good ones. But go for multiple web hosting where you could host more than 1 websites. Hostmonster is good.

For more webhosting, look at my website in my signature.

Yes, addon domains means that you can host more domain names with one account.

The reason why I chose them in the past was that they accept Moneybookers payments and simply because they are cheap. They are not so popular like Hostgator, but they are good.

Servage also offers payment thru moneybookers, i think they give a 20% discount as well. [Came accross the advertisement on the MB site, while i was making a payment :)]

Did you face any problems with them?
The most terrible thing for a site is not opening and being slow. So i dont want users face these problems.

No, it was OK. They also have a 14 Day Money Back Guarantee, so you can try them and if you don't like, simply ask your money back (even with no reason). I did it, as I no longer needed a paid hosting, and they really gave me my money back.

No, you can host your domain with only one host. This wouldn't be possible, as the nameservers can be set to only one host.
