I won't post my real domain name as I don't want this post being shown in google but I have a real estate agency website in Thailand. My traffic is 75% TH and 15% worldwide.

number-homes.com is the domain and the company is called number property, but I always go by number property, keywords etc are all "Number Property". I don't know why I registered that name 6 months ago, but anyway I bought numberproperty.com this week, should I change everything over?

I ask because my site is about 5 weeks old and I have been doing SEO like crazy, according to google its indexed, PR1 and no issues. But if I put numberproperty in google, i am on page 4 and if I put number homes or number-homes.com I don't get anything. I don't get any hits for number-homes.com on google.co.th (my friend does on .co.uk) but I get hits on (www).number-homes.com and all 4 links that come up are top when I search with www strangely?

My backlinks are lacking, I have about 30 and 90% of it are on 2 popular thail english forums so this could be why... I have some backlinks coming up but I don't want to push them yet if i'm going to change domain.

Change domain or not? I know its not popular like bangkok property or bangkok condos etc but I would like to get #1 on searching my business name "number property" . Or am I better off getting more backlinks and setting up a company profile on numberproperty.com or numberproperty.co.th and linking it to my domain number-homes.com? And both will be top SERPs?

I think redirecting your old domain to your new domain will be better option.

Reason is that by this way you can move your website to new address and still keep ur ranking and all your seo work safe.

I am not allowed to post link so search google with " benefit of domain redirecting in seo "

    I wouldn't worry about that - it's 5 weeks old.

Look up redirections so you can keep the SEO value of your backlinks, but for the most part the domain without the hyphen will be more memorable and more valuable. 5 weeks might be a lot of SEO to lose, but you can keep it with the right redirects (iirc), and 5 weeks 'aged' is not too much to worry about imo
