I also received email few days ago from eliteinvestment, they would like to purchase my domain. here is their email.

Then I sent email with my expected price.

Now, i just received today this email, i am surprised to see his offer. i cant expect this offer.

It is appraisal scam because his offer is 7 time big if i compare with my offer. I think in his provided link Don Williams, NameSeller, Platzer, Vaksman are same character, who post thread.

Ask him to initiate the escrow for $10,000 (make sure you have an account ready) and send him your escrow email. After escrow.com has confirmed they have the money. If they are for real, they would just make an offer and negotiate based on their need of the domain name. This is a scam because the only people who need an appraisal are the sellers to gauge the listing price on a domain name. A buyer pays what he/she thinks the domain is worth and not what an appraisal says it's worth.

    OR

Simply ask them to pay for an appraisal at SEDO.com because you have no funds to do so yourself.

Most importantly, DO NOT ( I repeat, DO NOT) pay them anything or go with any suggestions they have. SEDO is your ONLY option to make sure they are not scamming you.

I received the same e-mail about two months ago.

I probably should've replied with "Okay, I'm selling my domain for ten billion dollars."
