Is it just me or are domains selling for less than they used to?

I have some pretty decent domain names...all undeveloped because I haven't had time to work on them but why do people even bother selling domains for x or xx when registration is often cheaper? Am i missing something? I bought some good names in 2001 and have been holding them for a number of years only to find out that they are worth peanuts.

For instance is a 4 letter domain name really only worth $10 if it isn't a word or something pronounceable?

    Sorry for being bitter. Thanks;-)

You have to think about the purchaser - there are so many domain names available that people have to drop the price. if you have an amazing name you can still command a top dollar price but if not you may have to resign to the fact that you might get less than its cost you for renewals.

Saying that aged domains (espesically if they were developed at some time) still have considerably more value than new domains co

    Hi everybody.

I own harrypokker.com and extensions .org, .info, .net, .me, .mobi, .us, .biz and .co.uk.

I want to know for how much can I sell these domains. Ideas are welcome.

    juancca -

A couple of quick tips and suggestions: Drop that question into the "Appraisals" sub-topic and you'll likely get an answer. Also, "hijacking" someone else's topic with an unrelated question is typically frowned upon, so just start your own topic when you have a new question and everyone will be happy to reply. Happy posting and good luck!
