Is it just me or are domains selling for less than they used to? I have some pretty decent domain names...all undeveloped because I haven't had time to work on them but why do people even bother selling domains for x or xx when registration is often cheaper? Am i missing something? I bought some good names in 2001 and have been holding them for a number of years only to find out that they are worth peanuts. For instance is a 4 letter domain name really only worth $10 if it isn't a word or something pronounceable? Sorry for being bitter. Thanks;-)
You have to think about the purchaser - there are so many domain names available that people have to drop the price. if you have an amazing name you can still command a top dollar price but if not you may have to resign to the fact that you might get less than its cost you for renewals.
