What are peoples thoughts on 'Renting out' a domain?

Anyone had any experiences with this etc?

    Regards.

Yeah could be good. I have 1 domain that is listed in Appraisals (will not list here due to forum rules) may sell it but may also rent it. If I was to rent it out so to speak, what would I need to do? What would you pay to rent a domain anyway? Realistically on a standard domain when you can buy them for less that $10?!?!

The domain I am thinking about it very unique, good and had alot of work done to it (SEO, banklinks etc).

    Not sure though?

    Regards.

I would be weary about renting out my domain to just anyone. People can get it banned from the search engines and spam it everywhere.

I think it is a bad idea.

I would never rent a domain from someone, if i had success the could just increase the rate and force me to pay more.
