Domain Registration Scripts

I am interested in setting up a website that is strictly for domain registration. I am looking to be able to charge a certain amount to my users and then pay a certain amount to the registrars I use (I think ICANN is only like 20 cents per domain). The script should also be able to show how many domains have registered on my website. Hopefully the script will be fully automated and PayPal compatible.

Does anyone know where I can find a script like this? All ideas are more than welcome.

There are premade solutions out there. We do offer a reseller program that includes a storefront and you also have API capabilities. take a look @ http://reseller.directdot.com

    Good Luck

To buy a .com domain you must pay $0.20 to the ICANN administrative body and $6.42 to the .com registry operator (Verisign). Only registrars (like Godaddy, Enom,..) can buy directly from Verisign. To become a registrar you will need at least $50,000. It's easier and requires less upfront $$$ to become a reseller for a registrar - many registrars have reseller programs and provide the scripts required.
